The elegant restaurant at Rhodes W1 was fully matched by the excellent food. My mackerel starter was refreshing with some unusual and exciting flavours. The main course of a meltingly tender lamb fillet was served with a shepherd's pie with a twist, while my husband found his roast garlic risotto and baked salmon main course delicious and really set him up for an afternoon of shopping in Oxford & Regent Street. We shall certainly return.

My wife and I went Rhodes W1 for lunch to celebrate a special anniversary. We were not disappointed. A beautiful room, a creative and well-balanced menu with really fresh ingredients and faultless service made our day.

The best restaurant I've been to in a long time. My only minor criticism would be the wine list, fairly expensive for the wines that were being offered, but that won't stop me going back...

The single criticism I would have of this restaurant is that the wine list could have had some very good wines in the £25 to £35 range. As it was, there were very few wines in that range, good or otherwise, to select from.

Excellent, great food, lovely setting - would highliy recommend the current 2 courses for £22, if not maybe save for a special treat!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
