What a lovely and sublime little place this is, the food was so fresh and the service so friendly and unbelievable value for money considering that we had the menu gourmand and 2 bottles of excellent wine at only £110 a head including service. Its the only Michelin starred restaurant Ive been to with reasonably priced wines. They were incredibly accomodating with changes to the menu to suit individuals. Our only complaint was the 10 quid supplement for having Kobe beef which was tiny and tough.

Martin Wishart's restaurant at Leith has a reputation of serving top quality food and excellent food - it certainly didn't disappoint. The food was amazing and service was outstanding - would certainly recommend.

Wonderful. We loved this restaurant. The food was absolutely beautiful, the service attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere was very relaxed and realtively informal which was refreshing. The only difficulty we had was with the menu - and that was just because all the dishes sounded so good! We had a lovely evening - I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Restaurant Martin Wishart is definitely an Edinburgh treat. wonderful food service and everything! It is quite expensive but i would highly recommend it to anyone. It is worth the price.

Service was fantastic, and a beautifully designed restaurant.. Beef comes highly recommended. Entremets were superb and a welcome addition to our lunch. Pity it was quiet as there was little ambience but it did not spoil lunch in the slightest. Could not fault otherwise.

Restaurant Martin Wishart - As always great food, imaginitive menu and attentive staff. Don't go here if you want meat and two veg. There are interesting combinations of ingredients that challenge all the senses. If you want your meal to be part theatre, this is definitley the place to go!

Lunching at Martin Wishart's was a lovely relaxing way to spend a day away from the office - good food, excellent staff and enjoyable company. The number of waiting staff was rather alarming intitially but the service was friendly and attentive - without being intrusive. The scallops starter was melting and sweet, the house-baked bread was moreish. The shin of beef was a little dry but the mashed potatoes were creamy and full of flavour & the cheese selction was excellent! Will go again.
