We were the only diners in Pembrokes in Richmond, which made me slightly nervous as to the reason why. We asked for bread and 15 minutes later we were presented with the part baked variety which were still very doughy in the middle. I would have expected fresh bread from this type of restaurant. The smoothies are described on the menu as freshly pressed but they were actually in a bottle and at £3.75 we refused them. Not a wonderful experience all in all, although he staff were attentive.

The quality of the food and the service in Pembrokes restaurant was fantastic. The chicken in particular, was delicious. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed, although it was quiet in the restaurant. The wine list was extensive, but the choice of food was limited. However, the food was fairly good value for money considering it's quality. I would definately visit the restaurant again if I stayed in the Richmond again.

Pembrokes in Richmond... it was good and the staff were very pleasant. I was expecting more hotel-style plush environment and was surprised by the very sharp, clean blandness of the furnishing. Unfortunately it acted as a bit of a dampener as we were celebrating my brother-in-law's engagement announcement and wanted something a bit 'richer'.

This was our first visit to Pembrokes Restaurant but it won't be our last. The food was lovely and the service unintrusive. Our dining companions also rated the experience.(found 8 reviews)
