Olive Press - Cheadle Hulme fantastic new restaurant, modern tasteful decor very busy, friendly and efficient staff, very generous portion sizes. Great selection of wines. You are allowed to take your time.

It was our first visit and our wedding anniversary. We found the restaurant very pleasant, relaxed not at all rushed. As we are pensioners it was a little pricey for lunch, but we would go again for a special occassion.

After an anticipated wait to dine at this restaurant i can describe my visit no more than dissapointing, what promised to be an exciting meal left me far disgruntled at the bland and uninspiring food, a rissotto that was merely boiled rice drenched in red wine topped the poor food off which was a shame as the quality of the service was fantastic.

Olive Press Cheadle is enticing for families. It has lots of space, and staff are very child friendly, what's more, kids under 3 eat for free. However, the adult menu is pricey for what is very average food. Extras such as bread and olives are excessively priced and we were charged for a dessert that should've been free. Service was quite slow, not good when dining with two under 3's! If the food matched the quality of the ambience Olive Press would be much improved.

Olive Press Cheadle Hulme, nice enough place as its very new. Staff are friendly and service was good. Food was hot and with good portions, however, its Italian based and I didn't see an Italian front of house or in the kitchen!! So it tasted like Italian food but lacked any real wow factor.
