Noor Jahan - South Kensington The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but we were found a table promptly and served with poppadoms and dips. We were not rushed to order our main course, which made a nice change. We both ordered Chicken Korma with Pilau rice and a naan bread, which was all delicious and not at all greasy. The only slight criticism was that it took a long time for our bill to arrive, and we had to ask for it twice. Altogether, it was a very good meal and I will be returning.

Don’t be fooled by the overzealous staff and attentive service, it comes at a price. Servings were disappointingly small, side dishes were cleared before we had finished with them, and when I questioned the suspiciously high unitemised bill I discovered we had been charged for a number of items we hadn't ordered, and were then prompted ushered out the door.

We have eaten at Noor Jahan 2 at Lancaster Gate many, many times and have found it much better than Noor Jahan 1. Main meal came almost immediately after starters - we did not have a chance to finish starters. Shrimp over cooked in one of the dishes and sauces ok but not a patch on their new restaurant.

I have been to Noor Jahan three times now, and every time the service has left much to be desired, but the food is consistently very good. This is a place I would recommend for a quick nice meal, not for a long romantic supper.

Noor Jahan was a good experience. The sauces seemed home made which was an obvious point in its favour, however the lentil dahl could have done with a bit more spice.

Noor Jahan is a lovely neighbourhood Indian restaurant. The food is always dependable, and the service efficient but not overly friendly. The long menu means that everyone's favourite Indian dish is likely on offer.

great food, rude service. a shame really has always had a good time here, the waiter literally threw us the menu and was obnoxious when taking our order. Tables a bit too close together but have to say, the food was fab. Undecided whether i'll go back though

The Noor Jahan is a typical indian restuarant though for london the prices are very reasonable, the food menu has your basic indian items nothing special service was good perhaps to good at times

Food was great at Noor Johon and certainly wasn't skimpy on the portions. Good value.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
