Meltons Too is a great restaurant. Definitely recommend it to anyone in town - meatballs were made from really good quality meat (much appreciated by Aussies living in London) and veg tagine was yummy. Service was excellent and friendly (also appreciated by London-dwellers!). Only negative was garlic bread was soggy.

Went on Lobster week. Food was excellent on a fairly busy Thursday night. Prices reasonable with good service.

A lovely bistro with a calm and inviting atmosphere. The food was simple but excellently done, the wine was lush from a wide variety too. Friendly staff and candlelit surroundings. Casual chic, we would recommend a visit!

Melton's Too....if you want a relaxed, informal evening then the service is just right. They bake their own bread and you can tell the difference....no stale baguette rubbish here!

Meltons Too was excellent. The food was fantastic, the service attentive and the bill quite small considering the huge amount of food we received.

I booked Meltons Too for a family lunch for my husbands birthday as we were eight we were seated in a booth with comfy sofas. The food was excellent very fresh They even did Tapas with a Yorkshire twist! . The service was great. Lauren the waitress even sang happy birthday to my husband. We all said we would return due to the quality of the food and value for money .They did childrens size portions of the main Menu and my kids loved the Meatballs. Thankyou for a good lunch!! Meltons Too, surprisingly quiet for a Friday lunchtime, was a friendly (largely due to a bright, chatty waitress, who helpfully commented on choice of wine/ main course accompaniments - not needed but good for less "foodie" visitors) undemanding location - two words that also sum up the food. All 3 of us had the Gnocchi starters (we opted for the special offer menu so choices were limited but suited lunchtime appetites and good value) which was small but tasy, and the mains also delivered.

meltons too in York is a delicious secret. looking like a cafe it offers superb tapas but not Spanish.. just delicious nibbles. main courses all good. favourites for us were the mackeral pate, cheese plate, rolled pork belly etc.. well worth a walk through town to find it.
