Mehek is functional in terms of ambience and service but the food is pretty damn good. Opt for the spicier dishes as the mild or medium options are plain bland. Good wines as well, especially the organice merlot, which was delish.

Good food, slow but friendly service, complimentary port is a lovely touch, just watch out for those stairs down to the bathroom if you've been drinking!

I Love Mehek. It being the Christmas party season they were very busy - but the food was excellent as per usual. I recommend the King Prawn Tandoori Masala. Fantastic.

Dined at Mehek on a Wednesday. Service was superb to start with. However, as the restaurant filled up we were totally forgotten about. Despite our empty glasses we were not asked if we wanted anymore drinks, and our plates were left uncleared. But, we were offered a complementary drink when we requested the bill. Evening was spoilt by the waiter hassling us to donate to their appeal fund and bizarrely counting out the proceeds of his collection jar at our table. Food good, but service lacking

Good venue for a city lunch. Service is fairly quick but can be a bit off hand. Food is standard indian fare to a competent standard.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
