Great service and food, had a great night here, lovely extras eg complimentary glass of champagne, fruit and Baklava for no apparent reason it was great! Definately go again best in a group I'd say...

Maroush V had fabulous food and a good atmosphere. However, the service was pretty poor. We asked for drinks twice and did not receive them, so eventually gave up and asked for the bill. Also be aware that there is a £2 cover charge on the bill. Excellent food though!

The Maroush V was plesantly laid out however it took 20 minutes for them to take our order and when it came time to get the bill it took just as long, not to mention the waiter was very unfriendly. On the plus side the food came fairly quickly and was above average.

Basically the excellent service that you expect from Lebanese hospitality along with excellent mexes/starters. The disappointment factor lay in the "tired" mains that we recieved. My lamb lacjk definitely looked re-heated and lacked vitality associated with freshly cooked meal - and similar comments form other 3 guest. So basically you should stick to the starters - forget the mains !!!! [sadly!}

Maroush V was a quiet place to have a late dinner. Great dishes, original flavour with one exception: falafel tasted like deep fried squids. Complimentary fruits and sweets were granted.

Ordered a set meal for 4 people but it would have fed many more. Staff were very helpful and the food was very tasty and great for an informal party where we could all dive in. We were recommended a Lebanese wine that was very good and reasonably priced. Only slight complaint was the setting. A very impressive entrance way but in the upstairs section of the restaurant it felt a little bit tatty and not very Middle Eastern - a bit of a cross between an airport fast food joint and a work canteen.

We were really looking forward to this meal but didnt get off to a great start after being told very abruptly to go upstairs for our table, which didnt set the mood right. However they fully redeemed themselves with a vast menu, fantastic service and food so delicious I can still taste it now. My advice would be to order from the hot Mezza menu as the main meals just seem to be, well, a glourified kebab !

Maroush is a lovely restaurant, reasonably priced considering it's in the West End. The food was nice and will definitely go back there again.
