Manneken is in a great location being just off the Grand Place in Brussels. We went there for a quiet dinner on New Years Eve. Quiet it was, a little too quiet as we had to prompt the waiters for any service whatsoever, and they made a point of leaving us out of any of the nights festivities. A relatively expensive meal and not good value for money. The ambience should have been good but they started up a country band a few minutes before midnight so we rushed off. Wouldn't go there again.

Located just by Grand Place, Manneken Restaurant was able to provide a separate dining area for 20 birthday guests. The service was attentive however slow to begin. Nothing on the menu was out-of-stock and everyone received what they had ordered quickly and without error. The food was fresh with traditionally large portions. The TopTable description for this restaurant set all of the right expectations. We would definitely return for another meal.

My friends and I lunched at the Mannekin in November 2007. Itwas a cold damp day in Brussels and the warm open fire in the restuarnt made for a perfect and welcoming atmosphere. The food was good. It is not paricularly sophisticated cuisine but all of us enjoyed our dishes and certianly had no complaints. I would call the service relaxed rather than slow which was a pleasasnt change to the hustle sometimes experiened. I would return and one of my friernds has already made a booking

We took my mum to Belguim for her 50th and went to Manneken restuarant. It was a lovely restuarant the staff were all very friendly and helpful the food was excellent and good portion sizes and excellent value for money. Only draw back was no Christmas decorations even though it was 23rd December. But there was a friendly happy atmosphere.

Toilets were well below average, food was good but overpriced - what to be expected from the touristy area.

Manneken's main positive attribute was it's location just off the Grand Place. Food was reasonable and prices a little higher than expected (probably again because of location). There are better places to eat belgian mussels and enjoy a a typical belgian meal...but by no means a disappointment!

Manneken off Grand Place Brussels A very nice bistro, but we thought we had booked a restaurant. Apparently this functions only in the evening. Stiil on the whole an enjoyable experience(found 8 reviews)
