Much better than expected despite lots of Christmas parties.

We had a great meal at Malmaison once we had sent the waiter to the kitchen to find out what was on and what was combined on the menu. The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked and went really well with the rice and fresh peas. The pork dinner was great too and all the vegetables were prepared to a high standard. The female staff were miles better than the males, who could learn from their colleagues. I would definitely go again - a lovely quiet haven from the bussle of Leeds town centre.

A rather dark and sombre restaurant, but the special deal was OK, main courses very nice - but a little small , deserts rather unimaginative. The young man serving us was charming.

Took my mum for lunch on her birthday and she loved it. The set menu is small but all dishes appealed. Prev reviews said it was quiet at lunch and although there were only 3 tables filled it didnt feel empty and the waiters didint rush us either. A great meal

Resteraunt was empty which made for a strange atmosphere, however food was good. Starter was a little bland but the main course of pork belly had superb crackling with tender meat. I'd possibly go again if there was some atmosphere.

Malmaison Brasserie Leeds. Building impressive inside and out. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, even when we arrived an hour early. But felt uncomfortable with informal “how’s it going guys” question from waiters. Good, well cooked food and good value. Wine list extensive but not enough under £18 options. Overall, recommended.
