Les Etoiles has a great location and the service was excellent and the portions generous. I don't think the food quite matched up to the surroundings and the tremendous views of Rome.

Les Etoiles Roof Garden If you get the right table (around 3 of 20) the view is fabulous! St Peter's Basillica lit up . However, this place is stuck in the 1980s. The food is old fashioned, heavy and not imaginative e.g. prawn cocktail and meat and two veg. The decor is very tired and the ambience was also not inspiring as a casio keyboard was played or on autopilot throughout - we picked out UB40! It is very expensive - £100 for two courses and a bottle of wine for 2. It is also not outside.

Les Etoiles Roof Garden - beautiful setting (looking out at St Peters), staff very attentive and excellent food. We went for our anniversary and it was well worth paying the extra. Would definitely recommend it for a special occasion but a bit expensive just for a meal out whilst in Rome.

The Les Etioles Roof Garden, was a fabulous experience! The table and the view of the Vatican was fantastic and could not compare to anything that we had experienced before. The food was lovely, I did mark the score down because one of the meals we ordered was Lamb and the dish was full of bones. If you avoid that dish you will be very pleased. Dont hesitate and book if you are going to Rome .....dont miss this gem.

Les Etoiles Roof Garden was the perfect venue to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with a fantastic view of St Peter's Basilica. The place was quite empty when we arrived but the staff made us feel comfortable without being overbearing as is the Italian way. As the eveing wore on, the view became more spectacular and the dishes equally so (finishing with the tiramisu). The toilets were surprisingly basic (but this is by no means a criticism). Les Etoiles is a must if you visit Rome!

We booked Les Etoiles Roof Garden for our first wedding anniversary. It did not strike us as a slick venue. Requests took three attempts to register, the bread was stale, and guests at the next table complained that their food was both cold and not what they had ordered. Considering the prices (£15 appetisers, £28 steak) one might expect the service and food to be spot on. The atmosphere was not great either and, as this was a celebration, we left without dining. Great view did not compensate.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
