It was a delightfull experience! Would recommend to anyone that loves seafood! We esspecially loved the fact that you choose your own fish etc from the counter. Service was great too. Toptabnle offer was very worth the money £25 for 3 course meal and a glass of wine. Enjoy!

A truly wonderful find. Quality of food amazing - so fresh and tasty - staff superb, wine exceptional. Well done.

Lemon Sole - went for lunch time meal, the fish pie was sold out, bit of a shame. Could do with happier waiters, and bigger portions. Not sure where the menu description was lost from kitchen to meal, but my chicken had no red pepper. Will probably go back again though, and try the wine cellar and main menu out, rather then the 2 for 1 offer, might get better choice and service.

Nice food, and good atmosphere, menu limited on the Daily Mail offer - but there is enough to choose from. Looking forward to go back and sample the fish counter which looked interesting.

Lemon Sole Seafood Restaurant served and excellent starter and main course, but is must be said the deserts we tried were very poor. Service as efficient although the waitress tended to shout at us as if we deaf. The whole experience of going up to the fish counter and choosing your fish we found a little strange, but it did allow you see what you were getting. Overall a worthwhile experience and we would go back - but would avoid dessert next time.

Having seen Lemon Sole advertised locally we decided to try it. Initial impression good, cosy, welcoming but it was freezing cold. Instead of a menu you choose your wine from the rack and food from the counter which was a fabulous concept. We settled down to leisurely enjoy our courses but found ourselves an hour & half later out the door with a bill for two of £105 (no coffee or pud), for inexpensive wine, a very chilled starter, fish (red snapper & parrot fish), chips, mash and spinach.

Lemon Sole lunch special offer was a real treat. The £10 for 2 courses plus a glass of wine sounded too good to be true. The meal far exceeded my expectations - there was a good selection of dishes on the menu, including meat & veggie options if you didn't want fish. I'd go there again.

Lemon Sole has a great twist on food ordering. You turn up to the fish counter and let mine host wax lyrical about the produce and how it will be cooked. This is a good icebreaker if you're with some new friends. The downside is you have no idea of the cost until the bill turns up. All in all though a good experience.
