Le Croissant was amazing. Good location and easy to find. Delicious food in French style bistro. English speaking waiter was very helpful as I know very little French. However the Jazz band were not playing as the bassist had an injury! They did recommend other Jazz venues nearby & we received a small discount with our meal. Glad we stayed and ate there, as it was one of our favourite meals that w/e!

Les poissons sont excellents mais le tartare de boeuf est décevant tout comme le service. Peut-être une excellente adresse le midi, mais un peu triste le week-end.

We went to Le Croissant for a friend's 21st, and although we did have a good time, it was very quiet. We were one of only two or three tables there during the evening, so it wasn't quite he party setting we hoped for. However the service was exceptionallyfriendy and I would almost recommend it on tat alone. We had the 24 euro set menu, which was excellent food and good value for money.

Le Croissant was disappointing - as it wasn't a proper restaurant, more of a gastropub. We were seated right next to the bar where most of the customers were just having a drink. The jazz band we were promised were not there - and didn't look like they often were. However the food was nice (even though a little expensive for the venue) and the service was excellent, with an English speaking waiter. I would recommend Le Croissant if you're looking for a good informal bar menu - nothing more.

As we only had one day in paris I wanted to try to find somewhere that was inexpensive, well situated but not on the main tourist routes. This historic little restaurant is about ten minute walk from the Opera - the road its in is quiet and the restaurant is very unassuming. We were the first people there at midday, but it soon filled up and there was quite a buzz. The food was above average from what I've had in Paris in the past. I would like to try it in the evening to enjoy the music.

Le Croissant was a disappointment. Having booked it for Valentines night and having read the Valentines set menu on the website, we were both looking forward to it. However, there was no set menu. Service was slow, much of the menu was not available. There was a jazz band on but you couldnt hear yourself speak - too loud! It was cold so we ate with our coats on. Will not return
