Delightful evening at La Melodie du Gout. Strangely quiet for a Saturday night but food was delicious - particularly recommend the salads which were very creative. Some of the best roquefort I've ever eaten. Tarte tatin also did not disappoint. Not somewhere you would find without already knowing about it. Good value for money as well considering Brussels prices.

La Mélodie du Goût was a lovely little restaurant with friendly (but fairly slow) service. When we arrived our table was still reserved for us in front of the fire even though we were 30 mins late. Food was lovely and in generous portions although our first choice of dessert was not available the freshly baked tarte tatin that we were recommended was wonderful. Would recommend, especially if you are staying in the Rogier area where many hotels are situated.
