Great burgers at the Hudson Cafeteria. The ambience was friendly, and the wine list extensive. Would also recommend the fish dishes, as they were very tasty. If possible, ask for a table by the window.

We attended on Thanksgiving Day, which had a limited set menu. The Hudson Cafeteria is certainly not what you would expect when walking in off the street, very impressive. Staff were friendly and attentive. The kitchen is within the seating area of the restaurant for all to see. The food was well presented, arrived promptly and very enjoyable. This was a celebration meal that lived up to expectation.

For a special night out go to the Hudson Cafeteria in New York. Very trendy and unusual restaurant in the classy Hudson Hotel. Food was delicious, but on the minus side - wine was very expensive even by NY standards. Would definitely go back.

Hudson Cafeteria is in the Hudson Hotel - amazing hotel... amazing ambience in the hotel.. the restaurant was empty - not a a lot of ambience... the service was terrible and the food was very average. I would not recommend this place or go back.

this is a returned visit. i had asked on a previous ocassion if a dish was available for lunch and they had said yes. when i booked and showed up for this meal, the dish was not available. there was no apology, and no effort to rectify it. what a shame. good service is very important to a good restaurant.

My girlfriend & I celebrated at the HUDSON CAFETERIA after I proposed and it was amazing!!! Great food, great wine and a cool place all round! Highly recommended, we will be returning to the HUDSON on our next trip to NYC! Make sure you try the burger with all the extra's and the Espana pizza for hearty appitizser for 2!!!

The Hudson Cafeteria is one of my favourite restaurants in NY if you are dining with friends as it has a great buzzy atmosphere and the food is of a very high standard. It is excellent value for money in such a trendy establishment.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
