I went to Fishworks in Parsons Green for lunch and booked the special offer menu. Not a huge choice of courses, my friend and I both had the mussels starter then the fishcake main. The food was great and the portions were huge...however the service was so bad! We had to wait so long for our orders to be taken, they forgot to give us our wine (which was included in the offer) and it was all so sluggish. Other people were complaining too. Great food but awful service!

Food was excellent. Only complaint was the coffee was over priced - £2.50 for half a small cap. Ambiance was poor but it was a monday when you expect most resturants to be quite ( only two other people)

The food was fine. Not great but with the 50% off deal it was good value for money. Service was somewhat erratic but the staff were very friendly.

The food was delicious, and the restaurant generally had a nice feel about it which made for an enjoyable evening. However, the waitress was a little bit pushy in trying to promote the "pick your own fresh fish" idea and the wine list, which we thought was a little unnecessary. I also think that without the top table discount it would have been quite overpriced, so although the food was very good I'm not sure I would hurry back if paying full price.

Fishworks Parson Green - nice staff. good size portion of squid for starter . skate had a bit too much butter. best fish and chips outside of a proper chippie though.

parsons green fishworks. Great value with the toptable deal!! I had the scallops and the swordfish, both of which were excellent. My ex-wife had the monkfish, which thankfully was not quite as good. I'd definitely take my new fiance there.

Fishworks Parson's Green was, as usual, really lovely. We had scallops and fish soup to start, both of which were very tasty and followed this with the platter with lobster. The lobster wasn't the bast we've had but the platter is definately worth it - really good fresh fish and lots of it. Overall a great night out and to be recommended.

I can't fault the food at fishworks, it was delicious. The service was OK, but not great - we had to ask twice for a jug of water and when the waiter arrived with it he filled up our glasses but took the jug away, they also didn't have any cold lagers, so I had to drink lager on ice!
