Fishworks - Chiswick I was really looking forward to a nice lay Saturday lunch, after booking the special through Toptable. However on arrival we were presented with the full menu, whereas the offer said it would be a set menu, after querying this the waiter said 'I don't think we are doing that special anymore'. It was very embarrasing, yes, we booked a special but felt cheap by having to ask for it. Unsure what we were going to pay for as the special was not avialable. Food was good

The slightly eccentric waiter was a little difficult to pin down for more than a few minutes but it looked like he was left to run the show on a saturday night, so perhaps not suprising! The food was amazing as always. Whitebait for starter was delicious and very generous on the portion size. Starter was so good that I didn't quite leave enough room for my platter, which was a huge shame. I could barely move by the end!

Fisworks Chiswick. Great food, but the service is not there yet. Ordered some olives and water still waiting for them even if there did charge us on the bill... The staff seems to be over busy, when there is no reason for it and not really that many table... sorry

If you want fish, then go to Fishworks. Lovely fresh fish. Specials are delicious. Service good - new team on board. Own selected wine very nice.

Fishworks Chiswick was the perfect choice for a catch-up lunch with an old friend. The fish soup was delicious, as was the grilled sea bream and salad - the freshness of the fish was obvious. Service was friendly and attentive. Didn't need the toilets so can't rate them. Highly recommend.

I went their with a rather larger group (9ppl + baby) and It was a good surprise. I was expecting a lot of trouble with service etc.. but everything went smoothly. The food was quite good but nothing out of this world: Classical dishes with good quality ingredients, although the oyster were a bit disapoiting. At the end the bill with a bit high to my taste, but still acceptable. I will definitely go back there!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
