Fishers in the city is a quaint little restaurant just north of princes street. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very buzzy with a lovely large fish tank with a variety of species to look at whilst eating the largely fish based menu. Food and service cannot be faulted leading to a most enjoyable evening. Would recommend.

Fishers in the City was fabulous. We went for a 30th Birthday and enjoyed it very much. The food was execllent and the service was first class, very friendly and attentive and they knew what they were talking about when it came to the wine and the food. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I eat at Fishers in the City a lot and have always enjoyed it. Great seafood and lovely surroundings. It caters for the non seafood eaters as well but I have never tried anything else as I go in the firm knowledge that I will have delicious fish. Have to mention the creme brulee as well. Fantastic!

Fishers In The City, Edinburgh. Ten of us went as part of our Hen weekend. The average age was about 40+, except the bride who is 28. What a fantastic place, the food was as usual brilliant, even the fussiest of the group enjoyed themselves. Great value too, as we all had three courses, coffee and plenty of wine, at least 4 bottles. The cost each being £35.00. I had been before so knew it would be excellent and they didn't disappoint. If in Edinburgh give it a try.
