The Fat Fowl has a very limited menu, my wife found it hard to choose and opted for the vegitarian main course, which she throughly enjoyed.

Would highly recommend the Fat Fowl, the staff were efficient and very friendly which all added to our enjoyment of the evening. Choice and standard of food was excellent, wines good and reasonably priced.

The Fat Fowl in Bradford on Avon is a taste bud education. I dined there with my friend and my 13 year old daughter. The food was seasonal and fresh. Perhaps they were trying a bit too hard to overcomplicate the food at times. There were terms on the menu that neither my friend or I had ever heard of. We both consider ourselves knowledgable around food and fine dining, but we were stumped. Not recommended for younger people (my daughter could not find a starter). Good for adventurous foodies.

I have now visited Fat Fowl 4 times and each time had a wonderful meal. a real treat to go out and eat something different and interesting. I had parmesan Polenta with a beetroot pesto! Followed by the skate with chorizo, butter bean and samphire salad . Very friendly waiting staff .

The Fat Foul turned out to be an excellent venue. Service was exceedingly good, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken liver parfait, which was the best I have tasted, ever. We will certainly be returning.

The Fat Fowl experience was a little disappointing . A lovely place and setting but lacked atmostphere, however the staff were very pleasant . We chose off the lunch menu, which we felt was a very limited and wouldve like to have had the option of the tapas menu as well but it wasnt available. (we wouldve spent more ) .The risotto was very good . We would try again but will go in the evening next time.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
