The regional cooking in this restaurant is first class and the service was excellent. They make the most of a brutal concrete room by good styling and the view is great. I can highly recomend this for any visitor to Bilboa who wants good regional cooking.

On our recent visit to Bilbao we had dinner at Etxanobe. Located in their cultural musical hall the restaurant has a very dramatic decor. The staff were very warm and some of the food was wonderful like the Seafood Soup. We were thrilled to have our bowls refilled after the 1st serving. My partner enjoyed his 2nd course of sliced beef but I found my typically prepared cod inedible. They were happy to replace it - but I'd lost my appetite.

Etxanoble is a really exquisite restaurant the settling is wonderful matched by the food. Prices are not for the fainthearted but well worth it in my opinion

The fish dishes at Etxanobe were excellent - between the 2 of us we had Lasagne of Anchovies, fish soup, fried hake & rock fish - all were perfect and could not be faulted. We should have given the desserts a miss (rice pudding & goat cheese tatin). Good selection of wines including some great sherry by the glass and lovely reserva cava by the glass Being Spain, the restaurant was a smoking restaurant and the smoke got quite intense by the end of the meal - we could not wait to escape

Meal was fabulous. Service was excellent and the food was lovely. The chef even came out to speak to us and he signed a book for us. Would definately recommend it.

Had a lovely meal on the terrace with a great view overlooking the park. Staff were helpful in choosing appropriate dishes and the chef met us on our way out and gave us his cookbook!

We had a great experience at Etxanobe. Lovely table, friendly service and some excellent food. We chose the Toptable 69 euro deal for a tasting menu including wine, water and coffee. This consisted of the chef's choice of 4 dishes from the main menu followed by a dessert selection. The scampi carpaccio and beatifully cooked monkfish were the highlights for me, topped off with a visit from the friendly chef and a free signed copy of his book! Great value and would definately recommend to all.

unbelievable experience. We had dinner with our 4 year old. Had the gastronomic menue. Amazing presentation and combination of food(carpaccio of shrimps, hake with different sauces and mousse). Service was friendly and attentive. pricey but worth it.(found 9 reviews)
