Eriki 2 provided an early dinner before a flat viewing in Maida Vale. If all the restaurants in the area are as good then it must be a very nice place to live. We were somewhat rushed as, not knowing the area, we had got ourselves a little lost but the restaurant was very accomodating in helping us to turn the two course meal around within 45 minutes. Food was excellent, particularly the lamb chops.

We went to Eriki 2 for a quiet Saturday dinner, having been to the original Eriki and loved the food. The new branch is pretty quiet and friendly, but doesn't have a huge amount of atmosphere. The food was uniformly good, but the really great meals that we know from the original Eriki - the fabulous seafood - aren't on the toptable menu, which is a real pity. Overall a nice place to go for a quiet night out.

Rather plain and simple decor - yellow and pale orange walls with a few Mughal paintings. Very charming service, food served in white stylishly asymetrical dishes containing food quite unlike what usually arrives in an Indian restaurant. The main one I can remember was a dish of crispy fried okra - dry and very different from the rather gloopy okra that features on the regular indian menu. Keen to try it again soon

We've been to Eriki in Swiss Cottage many times and really enjoyed it, so were very pleased to discover Eriki 2 about 5 mins walk away from our flat. We visited on a Friday night during the Easter school holidays and it was extremely quiet (only 2 other couples)) so not much ambience. The food however was fabtastic - Malabar seafood curry remains my favourite main course and Masala Dosa my favouriet starter. The menu is somwehat shorter so it's more likely to get boring after several visits.

Eriki2's menu seemed to offer a bit more promise than it delivered. Food was good, but short of exciting and lacked the spice we would expect. The starters seemed to outshine the mains in the flavour department. Service was competent and the mix of diners was interesting as the restaurant filled in during the course of our meal. Overall OK but it seems there are few things to be worked out with their menu offerings.
