Epicurean Lounge had some tasty food, but the experience was slightly let down by the restaurant being completely empty on the Friday before Xmas! Overall was nice and I'd like to go back when it's a bit busier.

It was a ok option. the price is not too expensive but also can not be called reasonable. It is just very closed to my office so I choose it to be a place to meet freinds for lunch, but I do not particularly recommend for important occasions.

The Epicurean Lounge pizzas were delicious but took nearly one hour to arrive and were nearly cold. My two friends had the sliced steak pizzas and I had the Indian-themed pizza, which was very good but disappointingly cold. It must have been sitting for a long time. And the place was nearly empty for 8.00 p.m. on a Friday night. The steak pizzas were better than my pizza. The chicken nachos were absolutely fantastic (if cold again). The bill was nearly £28 pp, very expensive!

We found the Epicurean Lounge to be a fantastic find, the food was great, catering for both the more traditional and bolder palettes (mango on Pizza!!); great ambience and decor. You can see the food being prepared behind the long bar and counter. An excellent place for drinks also, some good champagne cocktails and killer mpjitos!

Went with a friend to Epicurean Lounge on a Thursday after work. There were a couple of fairly big tables in (10 & 7) so this may explain why the inital service was so slow. The restaurant itself looks to be newly renovated to a pretty high standard and had a nice vibe. The food was ok, not outstanding but not bad either and I think the price was justified by the overall package rather than the food on your plate. All together we had a pleasant evening although I wouldn't particulay rush back

I believe that Epicurean is under new management which unfortunately is not for the better. Whilst the pizza's were delicious with 2 of us ordering the Santa Fe-it was a pretty average evening. If you come here - come for the pizzas alone - very tasty and good service. However, they played 3 depressing dido songs on rotate which forced us to ask to change the music - which I have never done before! We ordered ice cream which tasted like cheap cardboard - the mgmt team didn't charge us though.

We dined at The Epicurean Lounge early last night, before a gig at the Betsey Trotwood. Fantastic service, great guacamole and a reasonable wine list. Without a Top table discount the cost was excellent, £68 for 4 including wine, main and guacomole & service.
