A good quality modern indian meal, reliable as usual. The service was a bit grumpy, but all in all a great restaurant, especially for its location. Good for vegetarians too!

The food at Emni was lovely and definitely more tasty than your average curry but I was disappointed about the service. We had lots of questions about the food when we ordered but the waitress had only just started and was unable to answer any of our questions. I wouldn't pay full price here as the portions are a little small. The 'large' scallop starter was in fact only two small scallops which at the normal price of £5.95 would have been a rip off

I found the food and service was excellent. The portions were good and I strongly recomend the grilled Prawn. The restaurant and facilites were clean and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. Go with clients, your partner or just your mates and you will not be dissapointed.

Overall, Emni provided two large families with a lovely time. The food was adventurous enough - giving traditional Asian cuisine a few interesting twists. Thank you Emni.

Emni served good Indian food with some subtle twists on old favourites. We enjoyed the seating upstairs by the windows overlooking the revellers of Angel go by. Service was unobstrusive and overall experience great especially with the 50% offer on food, though standard prices very reasonable.

Visited Emni on a Friday night, it was busy so had a good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and reasonably attentive. Not overly impressed by the starters, mains were good but there is a far better Indian restaurant locally on Cross Street. Decent food, but not special. The 50% deal made it good value however I don't think I'd rush back.

Emni provides 'new wave' Indian cuisine, and it is very good indeed. In particular, the lamb dish for two was subtly spiced , wonderfully tender and voluminous. Artificial colourings and the usual residual lakes of cooking oil were not in evidence. This is superior, adapted subcontinental food. Wines were affordable but not bargainous. Worth a visit but only a 'must' on the toptable deal.
