El Raco d'en Freixa is a high standard restaurant, though the value for money is in our opinion not with every course in line. Excellent wine list and friendly / professional service.

El Raco d'en Freixa was sublime, and combined art with culinary excellence. The textures, combinations of tastes and ingredients, and presentation were all truly unique and memorable. The chef, and each member of the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout the experience. We were truly glad and privileged to have chosen El Raco d'en Freixa to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and thank them for making the occasion so special.

A 'must' when in Barcelona. Everything was perfect from beginning to end (and compared to London prices, affordable too). A real experience for food lovers.

We had a lovely meal El Raco d'en Freixa, it was very French in it's delivery and style (reminded me of Gordon Ramsay Royal Hospital Rd). We chose the El Raco tasting menu, it was possibly a bit much but did mean we got to try lots of the menu. They do a smaller tasting menu too which would be worth trying.

I chose Raco d'en Freixa to celebrate my dads 60th birthday. The setting was subdued but pleasant. We selected the menu degustation, a 7 course taster menu. The food was sublime. The dishes were intricate with many elements working together to great effect. The presentation was stunning throughout. Desserts were not quite to the standard of the rest of the meal but still pleasant. The meal was very expensive but we did not feel short changed. All in all a great experience. Recommended!

A memory for life time, 110% eye for details and flavours. Not cheap, but with crockery and tableclothes like that. Everything was top class. Had 4 course menu - outstanding, wines like velvet.

Overall very good experience at El Raco d'en Friexa. Food was very experimental, service very helpful (and they spoke very good english) think they might be jumping on the El Buli bandwagon a bit, the simple parts of the meal were the best.

This restaurant was a once in a life time experience. Very expensive but the extras were phenomenal. Cosmopolitans, & truffles, a selection of breads and scallops and lobster made for a very enjoyable evening. Please remember to give the sommelier his ten minutes.. we unfortunately had chosen our wine before he arrived and told him so i.e. not allowing him to share his experience, a definate no no on our part, as we noticed that he spilt our wine & forgot the icebucket - a faux pax by us.
