Surprising busy for a January Wednesday and a nice atmosphere. Food good but service only average. Food arrived in a resonable time but by 9.00 the staff seemed to have disappeared. Overall I'd go again but wouldn't make a detour.

This is the second time we have been to the Dragonfly. I wanted to take my friends this time as we had such a fabulous time last time. We arrived early and were served quckly, however as more diners arrived the waitresses really struggled. They needed more staff. One of our starters were forgotton about and 2/4 cocktails we ordered were wrong and rather pathetic! The food was warm and took absoulutely ages to arrive. We were in there for 3 hours and not through choice! Ambience great, however.

We wnet on a bank holiday, so ate downstairs in the bar area. We sat on a sofa with huge cushions, which was so comfy. It wasn't busy and had a lovely time.

We were visiting Cheltenham for the weekend and booked through Toptable as we didn't know the town. We have a fantastic evening at the Dragonfly and can't recommend it enough. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious and well priced. Try the squid starter!
