After seeing Curry Lounge on RKN, we were keen to see how it fared. We were greeted well, but they seem to be milking their time on the TV. Service was very good, if anything too quick (starter arrived during poppodoms, (too sweet chutneys)). The Prawn Puri was like 'Prawns on Bread', not really any sauce to go with it. The mains were amazing though. I had the Lamb Korma, which was hot and was the most succulent lamb ever. Prawn dish was good too, but the portion of rice was tight. Good meal out

The visit to the Curry Lounge was a good experience, the service from the staff was very good and they were very attentive. Just the right amount of time between courses and we did not feel rushed even though the restaurant was fully booked and there was a queue of people waiting to be seated. A very good experience, and would definately visit again.

We dined from The Curry Lounge's set menu on New Year's Eve in Nottingham; the choices offered afforded all 5 in our party, including a vegetarian diner and a gluten-free diner to benefit from the excellent cuisine. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and the meat was plentiful and tender. The owner was present and played an active part in welcome guests and visiting each table; likewise the serving staffs were attentive and efficient. We would highly recommend the restaurant to all.

Our meal at the Curry Lounge was one of the most enjoyable Indian meals we have had. The service is very friendly and welcoming, the food is very authentic and well prepared. This was a different Indian dining experience and I would definately recommend a visit to anyone who appreciates Indian food.

We went to the restaurant as Gordon Ramsay had filmed his Tv show here a few months ago.Staff even were polite and professional and made us feel at home. Menu had dishes you do not get in your local indian. Loads if choice and variety. Food was sublime, every dish is cooked to order and we got it the way we wanted it. Fresh, good portions and value for money...it was cheaper than my local take away. The decor is to die, can see why it has got Nottingham talking. Give it a go, you will love it.

The Curry Lounge was excellent in all respects.From the moment we entered until we left we were extremely well looked after. It is so refreshing to eat in an Asian/ Indian restaurant and to find new and interesting dishes on the menu. We tried a number of these both starters and main courses. All were beautifully presented well prepared and on ordering were fully described. A most enjoyable experience. Judith Peters

AMAZING. Booked on strength of recommendation of my boss. Without doubt the best meal I have had in an Indian anywhere in the World...and from an Asian myself that says alot. Food is real home cooked food, authentic, oozing with flavour and obvious top class ingredints. The owner was a true gentlemen, with nothing being to much effort. The staff simply the best. Will definatey return on my next visit to the Uk in Feb next year. Perfect in every way.

On my second visit to the Curry Lounge in 6 months the food had gone so downhill that I couldn't eat it at all it was so bad. On my previous visit the food had been excellent as was the service and I recommended it to everyone. I am now trying to warn people I previously recommended this restaurant to about how disappointingly poor my second visit was so that they can save themselves from finding out for themselves. The service was also distinctly below average.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
