The food and service at Chapter Two is excellent and offers good value for money compared to many West End restaurants. The decor probably needs updating but this does not detract from the overall experience. Thoroughly recommend for a special occasion.

We had a fabulous lunch during the Xmas break at Chapter II. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented and the service was spot on. I noticed a horrified maitre d' rush over to take the bottle when he saw me reach for the wine to pour myself! They also readily accommodated a request for a starter with vegs as a main course for our 6 year old guest. I LOVE this place and I'm so lucky because it's right on my doorstep.

Took my boyfriend here for lunch on his birthday. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we both enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Very good selection of choices for all courses and good value for money. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Agree with previous reviews on toilets - surprisingly shabby. We will definitely be visiting Chapter Two again.

I took my fiance to Chapter 2 for her birthday and we really enjoyed it. The service was good and the food excellent. Will definately return and can recommend the roast belly of pork.

From the moment we arrived the service was friendly and generally without any hassle. The only negative was when we were slightly pressurised to have our finishing coffee/ tea at the same time as our deserts. Overall the food was extremely good, well-judged portion sizes and good selection. Deserts particularly good and their presentation very imaginative. In 4 cases 3 items were listed and a small portion of each served; but the Christmas pudding seemed to have been microwaved and was poor.

The food at Chapter 2 is exquisite - just as good in my opinion as the food at Chapter 1- its Michelin starred sister restaurant. The service is first class and there is a super wine list. The restaurant is in the centre of Blackheath village, a beautiful location and the restaurant itself has a lively atmosphere. All in all an excellent dining experience and I can't wait to go again.
