We had a work do at Chamberlain's Rest last night. We had a private room and the staff were v. attention and overall the night was a great success. The food was very good although the blokes thought the portions were small and the Xmas pudding was a bit rubbery. Overall, a nice eve, with good food, attentive staff and a good, tailored ambience. The manager was v helpful and v accomodating. I would reccommend holding a work do in their private room.

This is one of the most expensive restaurants in the City, and whislt the food and decor was excellent it is hard to justify the expense. The service was also a bit slow for my liking.

Chamberlains remains fantastic for fish. We had the fish of the day, sea bass which was pan fried and dover sole, grilled on the bone. Both were very tasty. Vegetables for the table weren't inspiring. Cool chips, brocolli, salad, beans and spinach. The salad wasn't touched. I was surprised no potatoes or mash was provided. Service was also a little slow.

Chamberlain's Restaurant is definitely a great place for seafood lover. Fresh and well prepared. Good for business lunch or dinner.
