Carmelite has a pleasant atmosophere, attentive staff, excellent wine. There's a varied menu, with the food of a high standard, nicely presented. Best sticky toffee pudding so far.

the Carmalite restaurant. the food was very well presented and the service was good . The scallops were tasteless , to me they tasted like they had been frozen and the wine was expensive the lamb however was very good but lacked a bit of veg which came as an extra ,the dessert to share was tasty.

Our lunch at The Carmelite was a good experience, although I can't understand why it was so quiet. The waitress service was fabulous, with a very personalised, cheerful attention to our requests. The restaurant and bar area were relaxed, welcoming spaces, a stone's throw from Union Street. Scallop and black pudding salad was delicious, glass of wine was a generous serving and the coffee was great, served with a piece of home-made shortbread. Would return again.

The Carmelite is a very nice restaurant serving well prepared food. Not the cheapest, but good quality, would go back again.

The Carmelite was quiet the night we visited, though it was a sunday! Its just around the corner from us so meant to visit for an evening meal for a while now. Food was nice and well presented, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Would have spent a bit longer to enjoy their relaxing bar area, but it had been a long tiring weekend and work the next morning was on our minds!

The carmelite restaurant was VERY quiet (only 5 of us in total!). It was a brunch menu -with little which appealed to me. The seabass tasted lovely but was served with only baby rocket/parmesan ---I would have liked more salad or veg plus some potatoes.

Caramelite was great! Definetly teh best restaurant in in Aberdeen at teh moment. We redeemed points and the food was wonderful, gorgouse haggis and smoked salmon for starters, seabass and chicken for main, with fresh veg and side salad and wonderful puddings. With the points it would have been expensive, but worth it so we will certainly be going back.

Carmelite in Aberdeen have made the whole experience great...From Arrival drinks, where we played Jenga, provided on the table, to leaving, the experience was pleasant, the food good, and the service just right. I have say I found the location hard to find down the back streets of Aberdeen, and arriving outside, I was not exepcting much, but once through the revolving door, it was beter than anyone could wish for Book it. Go there with friends, and experience it for yourself.
