First impressions were good. Enjoyed waiting At bar for guest to arrive. Tables are too close together. Conflicting info from waiters re menu and specials. Service slow waitress and food was not very hot. I rec'd my meal after my others guest had almost completed there meal. Condiments I ordered arrived before my main course and had to be returned to keep warm. Estcovich fish MUST be filleted prior to serving if you are attempting to provide fine dining. Struggling with bones not good.

The decor is remenicent of most holiday destination which definately gets you into the right frame of mind for food. The staff seemed very hospitable despite it being quite busy for a friday night. The best thing about the whole night is the food nicely seasoned and very well presented definately would go again : )

Lovely food, but service was really slow, had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our drinks to be served. Would go back but not on a Satrurday night, maybe during the week when it is a little quieter.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our evenig at Caribbean Scene. Friends who had not experienced typical Caribbean service before were a little perplexed. It ranged from being incredibly attentive to more than a little lacking. Food was great & there was a nice atmosphere. I would def recommend

The food at Caribbean Scene, was enjoyable, I had the fish stew and found the portion was large and the fish good. Only slight disturbance was the fire alarm that kept going off during the meal!

Caribbean Scene is a great resturant which serves tasty west indian cusines, the presnetation of each dish is absolutely fanstanstic and I would definitely recoomend it to friends and family, although a bit high in price it's worth it for a treat. We wnet during the weekday and received a 15% discount so that was good also. Staff are friendly and the ambience is brilliant!

Having been to The Caribbean and experience first hand the laid back attitude to life i wasn't surprised with the lengthy wait for pre dinner drinks, drinks, main course and dessert. If you dont mind waiting, it's worth it as the curry goat, jerk chicken and fried dumplings at Caribbean Scene were amongst the best i've eaten. Guinness Punch was heavenly. Staff were friendly and accomodating. We will definately be going back.
