Second visit to Vinopolis...... no complaints really had a lovely meal, only fault was the dessert came out cold but it was replaced straight away! Worth a try if you have never been here... was a little concerned about recent comments on slow service becuase of christmas parties but that wasnt the case for us!

We had our office Christmas function at Cantina Vinopolis and it was enjoyed by all. The food was terrific; interesting menu and all prepared beautifully. The service was a bit slow between courses but other than that it was all lovely.

Cantina Vinopolis - a large venue suffering slightly from the lack of customers. Well cooked mains - smallish portions and expensive. I'd probably go again but only because it's easy to get a seat.

We had a very enjoyable lunch choosing the Christmas Special. After ordering three different bottles of sparkling wine which were out of stock we were given a bottle of Champagne for the price of a Cava, a nice touch. Lthough it was very busy our waiter was very attentive. Excellent all round.

An excellent venue, and understandibly very busy this time of year but service quite distracted and food portions quite small. Cheese had been plated and bought out straight from the firidge so cold and dried out. Would try again but not at Christmas.

The service was terrible. I asked 5 different people to place an order and then we still had to wait around 40mins! Admittedly it was on 19 December, around the time of office parties, but it wasn't full when we arrived. The restaurant was definitely understaffed. Meal was nice but nothing exceptional. Toilets were very average. Staff weren't that welcoming. On a positive note, the wine selection was excellent and if service improved significantly, it would have been a lovely lunch.

Its a nice place, and the food was good (and wine, of course, was fabulous!), but full of Xmas parties which (as we were a table of two) just ruined the atmosphere (and service)for us a bit. I'd go back though at a different time of year!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
