Butlers Wharf Chop House was a very nice dining experience. The service is quite good and we enjoyed the food. However this was offset by the prices and very loud atmosphere in the restaurant.

The Christmas Eve we spent at The Chop House, Butlers Wharf was memorable for the great athmosphere and super service. The food was just what the doctor ordered and was without pretentions. The Flask of Cockles was the perfect starter when followed by (and i never normally have steak) the nicest steak i have tasted in years. The waiter who served us was full of personality, although my three good looking daughters did help get his attention! We would all recommend the Chop House, a top night!

The Chop House continues to be an excellent choice for family, business and socialising and the food is excellent and good value - drinks, though are not and are relatively expensive. Service can also be erratic - either brilliant or patchy. On this occasion, with the restaurant half-empty and yet so many staff that they seemed to be tripping over each other, it was still indifferent. Get the service right and this could be on its way to a Star!

Our Sunday lunch at the Butlers Warf Chop House was superb. We had a wonderful meal sheltering from the cold outside. The food was scrummy, giant yorkshire puddings always go down a treat!! Will definately be back!

The evening was thoroughly enjoyed and the food was excellent. Overall, it is quite expensive for what you get, but it is still a nice night out. The service was very good until we came to pay and there was only one swipe card machine for the whole restaurant, meaning we had to wait over twenty minutes to pay and leave, which was frustrating.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
