Bengal Tiger, Blackfriars London. Every was excellent! We had the Set Menu III, which was excellent value for money. They billed us separately for dessert but accepted their mistake and gave us a refund. Service Charge felt a bit high as I'd rather pay for service personally without be dictated to but all in all very good. This is becoming a regular for me in London! VERY quiet for NYE but we were early!! If only the police opening the roads in the early hours was a good!

food was okay, but over priced. portions were very small and waiters were far too eager to clear plates!

This restaurant offers a slightly different take on some traditional Indian meals. The restaurant was full on a Wednesday night creating a buzzing atmosphere, only detracted by being hassled too often by the waiters.

My partner and I had a lovely meal at The Bengal Tiger last night. The service was excellent. We ate early using the TopTable special offer, so the restaurant was quiet, but the ambience was such that we were able to thoroughly enjoy our meal without feeling as if everyone could hear our conversation. Highly recommended

I was really disappointed with the food, particularly as I had read such good reviews of it. When the manager took my order, I made it very clear that I was allergic to dairy but when my starter came, it was decorated with yoghurt. It is very disappointing that very little regard is given to people's allergies. The food lacked flavour and was swimming in oil. Overall, very poor food and mediocre service.

of us went to the Bengal Tiger for a leaving do at lunchtime. The restaurant was very busy and we waited quite a while for our drinks to arrive. The food however was really good with things like curried cheese on the starter platte! Would go back again but probably try it in the evening when it's not so busy and the service might be better.

nice ambience, but intrusive service. they kept on asking every five minutes if we were done with food, even though we had in our plates! but better food makes it all worth going there, would not recommend for a date though!

At 6.30 on a Friday evening the Begal Tiger was fairly empty so lacked a bit of ambience. Still enjoyable though. Has a broader selection of dishes than most Indian resaurants so you dont have to be a curry fan to find something to suit your tastes. The King Prawn starter was superb.
