Bbar was good fun. Funky African theme, with modern European/South African cuisine. Staff were very friendly and happy to rearrange my booking at short notice. Six of us had the special Christmas menu for £39.95 (one bottle of wine per table and hats and crackers), which proved good value. A handy venue for working lunches or a relaxed lunch with friends. I would go again.

BBar is a regular haunt and one of my favourite places for business dining - though also fun with friends in the evening. Food is consistently good although sometimes the service can be a little erratic. It's getting pricier and less good value than it used to be but still a safe bet for decent, nciely presented food.

We only chose this restaurant due to it's proximity to Victoria station, but my god, what a good choice! The decor is fab, the food was delicious and the staff were brilliant - very helpful, friendly and funny. We will definitely be going back.

Had a weekday lunch at Bbar with two friends, eating off the set menu, whcih, for Central London, is reasonably priced, and was really very good, if a tad straight-forward. The service was attentive and charming, and I would have enjoyed the chance to eat from the a la carte and indulge myself more had I been there with more time on my hands, probably of an evening.

As always, Bbar was a pleasing place to go for a drink - one of the few places where you can get a great cocktail in the Victoria area. The food never fails to impress and this time was no different. The quality is outstanding and puts some of the best London restaurants to shame. You would expect this to be expensive but it's not! Service is always friendly and prompt. I could make it my second home.

A great place with amazing service. Our waiter was lovely but not too much. Ordered the schnitzel which was nice but very greasy. The lamb stew was amazing though...just make sure you have not eaten for 2 days as the portions are pretty damn big!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
