The Boxing Day menu was varied and even more elaborate than usual, and the quality of food and service were amongst the best experienced in the UK. Although a bit pricey, the overall result was excellent and my hearty recommendation is well deserved.

Sunday lunch at Baumann's Brasserie offers great food and choice in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. It was our second visit for lunch and it was equally good as the first. Haven't been there in the evening but I imagine it would be a cosy retreat. Great value for money too.

Visited Baumanns for a second time having been disappointed with the service on the first occasion but thought I would give it a second chance and must say that it was a lot better. There were only two people waiting on but the evening was fairly quite. I am not sure how they would have managed had the restaurant had more diners. Overall, glad that I gave them a second chance as the food has always been good and I did not want the service to stop me from visiting again.

Well, we decided to go back and have another meal at this restaurant because the first time we went the whole experience was delightful with the food definitely of a very high standard. I must highly recommend, very good food at affordable prices. Will defiantly be going back again!

Located in a lovely sleepy village, Baumann's is a littel gem. The qulaity of the food is most excellent, served in a respected causal enviroment with lots of character and charm. - A great afternoon out.

We visited baumanns brasserie for the first time, and were very impressed. I am a very fussy vegetarian and did not fancy the vegetarian choice, the chef came to my table and discussed what i like and suggested a couple of alternatives he could do for me. What he did was superb. We will be back.

We booked the special deal at Baumann's Brasserie for Sunday lunch. We were a party of four being myself and my wife, plus my Brother-in Law & Sister-in Law. Speaking for myself and my wife I found the starter and pudding very good . The main course, however, being the roast beef, was not the tenderest or most flavoursome that we have enjoyed at other restaurants. The service was very good, and, although the fixed price for the food was also very good value, we found the wines to be expensive.

Baumann's Brasserie is no stranger to me, having dined there several times. I keep coming back because it is arguably the best restaurant in the area and has never disappointed in terms of food quality and service: Highly recommended.
