We were at Barnes Grill with a group of guests. It was a pain not to be able to eat a la carte, but the set menu was ok and the restaurant were flexible enough to make adjustments for 1 guest. Our waiter was very helpful and courteous.

We went to the Barnes Grill the Sunday before Xmas - with no expectation and left with no real feeling of any kind. One vegetarian and one frothing at the mouth for some good quality meat were satisfied, with one delicately cooked and good quality steak and one tasty fishcake. The wine list is reasonable and broad, the atmosphere light and suited to parties. The bar extortionate, as expected. In summary we enjoyed ourselves but felt rather underwhelmed.

Barnes Grill - we spent New Year at the Barnes Grill and overall had a very good evening. We were rather disappointed though with the food that we sent back once as it was over cooked, and ate the second time even though it was still overcooked,

We went for Sunday lunch at Barne's Grill which was the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant. Unfortunately, we weren't as impressed with the food on this occasion. Starters and desserts were good but the roast could have been better. Having said that, we did eat at 2.30pm so maybe the roast would have been nicer had we eaten earlier. Service was very good which reflected our 1st visit so I would try this restaurant again in future.

The Barnes Grill is one our local restuarants that we've been meaning to go to for months - and we weren't disappointed. My partner absolutely loved his 35 day old steak and my pork with apple and chilli sauce was equally delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going there again.

Peppercorn fillet and cheeseburger were both excellent. Chili salt squid was good, though just a touch too salty. The service was outstanding and the ambience very pleasant. We will be coming again!

Very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Liked the simplified wine list which doesn't hide behind pricing - right out there. Food was delicious. Good local haunt for a nice evening out.
