We ordered two of the Barcelona Tapas Bar y Restaurante's No 2 menu at a cost of £45 for the two. The portions, although quite numerous, were very small apart from the paella which was a generous size. We would have been interested in seeing what an order for one person would have looked like. Admittedly it was a very cold evening but there was an icy blast every time the door was opened. When I asked to be moved, I was told that it was the air conditioning that had just been switched on

The food at Barcelona Tapas Bar was good - we asked the waiter to bring us a selection of tapas dishes and his choice didn't disappoint us. The service was slightly slow though, we waited for quite a while before anyone came to take our order.

Once again, Barcelona provided the perfect setting for our reunion! The food was excellent, the service discreet and the ambience muy perfecto! Thoroughly recommendable

We went to Barcelona Tapa Bar in Lime St. probably not the best day to go, on a Friday lunchtime but that is no excuse for the service to be as appalling as it was. We were sat down at 1pm and by 1.40 we still hadn't been offered a drink. We had to literally get up and ask someone to come over, which took a further 10 minutes. Eventually when we had ordered the food came quickly and was delicious but I certainly wont' be going back on a Friday lunchtime.

Too long to come back to take food order. As tapas there are often a number of dishes waiting staff need to be quicker in taking finished dishes away. Coffees took 20 mins to arrive at end of meal. Shame with regards to the above as food is of a decent quality!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
