Bam bou is a great place to have anything from a casual meal with friends to a romantic date. Don't forget to drop into the bar on level 3 which is really funky. The food is great, service, ambience and all the rest - will most certainly be coming back.

Consistently high quality food - steak was succulent and green curry light and refreshing - and a wonderful atmosphere.

Bam Bou - Great restaurant, fabulous food, and fantastic service. Can't sum it up more succinctly than that. Wine was a bit pricey, and overall the bill was a bit of an eye opener. Somewhere to eat when you're feeling a bit flush.

Bam Bou is a great venue, whether for the bar or the restaurant. We went for a meal just before Christmas and the service was excellent and friendly, and not at all intrusive.Food was tasty and fresh, with some interesting dishes not found in your average Oriental restaurant. Veggies beware, though - unusually for Oriental food, the choice is extremely limited;we were told the menu changes periodically, though, so check this out on the website before you go (or return). Verdict:go at least once!

I had a pleasant enough lunch at Bam Bou, the food was lovely; However, the service was quite slow and one of my colleagues had to leave midway through her main course.. Would recommend for a long lesuirely lunch.

Bam Bou is delightfully set in four floors of a Georgian House and the restaurant rates highly for atmosphere. The food is interesting, with some excellent non meat options- the pancake with shitake mushrooms produces oohs of pleasure, and the fish options are well thought out. A tea menu is a clever offering. The bar on the 4th floor is the only downspot as the music is so loud that conversation is at a bellow, and the cocktails look great but taste a bit dull.
