The restaurant looked great but that was as good as it got. the menu was boring with very little choice. the basic lunch for three of us with no starters or afters, just a cheese board to share cost £80. that didn't even include a bottle of wine. waited forever to order and even longer for some sauce to go with my meal. the service was so slow and it seemed they had no staff working. our quick business lunch lasted for over two hours due to the slow service. I won't be going back again!

Balls Brothers Hay's Galleria has a lively bar area and restaurant area with private room as well - which the four of us used. I've been here a few times and always enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. Close to London Bridge, which helps, and there's a nice walk along the river too.

Visited yesterday evening and was very pleased with it. It was quite busy an the service was good but not overbearing, menu was small but with enough to offer something for all three of us. Food was delicious and very good value for money.

Balls Brothers at Hays Galleria was reasonably priced, efficient and quick service. Have eaten in a few of their restaurants so knew what to expect. Excellent wine list. Slightly limited menu was the only drawback.

Balls Brothers wine bar is hays galleria had a great buzz on its patio on a tuesday night. Inside was extremely quiet however, so I was a little surprised at the slow service. We had to wait a while for one dish to come but this didnt ruin the experience. Flavours were not gourmet but the portions were very reasonable for the price and the choice on the menu was good. Would return as a quick fix but probably not for a special occassion.

There were 15 of us dining at Balls Brothers and we arrived at 7:30pm. The evening didn't look like starting well when we were told before ordering that the cod was finished, and then on commencing ordering being told that there was only one serving of calf's liver left. Despite the lack of choice for the mains, the food was good and the service was excellent. The ambience really lets this venue down - the music didn't fit the setting and there was no real atmosphere.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
