We thoroughly enjoyed New Years' Eve at Antica Bibliiteca. The staff were very helpful and courteous I could not praise them enough. Unable to get a taxi we returned to restaurant absolutely frozen, we were plied with hot coffee encouraged to dance and even offered a plate of spaghetti at 2.00am! The owner took us to a square to help negogiated a taxi for us - we felt that we were leaving friends behind.

what can i say this was a super evening spent in the heart of rome in one of the nicest restaurants i've ever been to.Our hosts were willing for us to start early and our waiter was so polite and friendly!food was well presented,portion's adequate and the taste was terrific.Highly recommended for all.We felt like royalty and the restaurant was very clean,the staff spotless and we had plenty of time to savour our special night.Thank you 'Antica Bibloteca' for a night of luxury fit for an emporer!

We visited Antica Biblioteca (formerly Acqua Negra) and were very happy with everything. The food was very good (the protions are a bit too big if you are eating 4 dishes). The service was good when we were the only guests but we also visited when there were 6 other guests and at that time the service was quite slow. However I would still recommend a visit. GE, Sweden

I recently booked a table at Antica Biblioteca for 29 work colleagues. The restaurant itself is lovely and we had a separate part of the restaurant, which meant we had privacy. When the food arrived it was very good however a very long wait for side dishes (potatoes & veg) meant that a complete meal could not be eaten. If you are visiting as a group I would recommend this restaurant but advise you to pre-order as this would have made things a lot easier!
