We dined at Angus Steak House on Shaftesbury Avenue. The steak (Angus T-bone) was much below our expectations - quite tasteless and rather fat. Service was good but value for money - not at all. Not surprisingly the restaurant was deserted.

situated at the heart of leiester sq, this place is close to the West End and Regent's street so location-wise its fabulous. the service was attentive, food was adequate. but will come back again becos of the great location

Dinner at Angus Steak House (Shaftesbury Ave) for 2 adults + 2 teenagers. No problem being seated promptly, despite arriving an hour earlier than booking! Steaks good size and delicious (especially the fillet steak) even if slightly on the rare side - we had asked for medium. Large portions of chips and tasty side veg. Very attentive and cheery service. Paid a little more than expected, (£110 incl drinks + 2 desserts) but p'raps that's just London.

My evening at the Angus Steak House proved to be a really enjoyable one! :) Although the steaks are quite expensive, you definitely get what you pay for. The steak was cooked exactly as I ordered and of the highest quality. The staff were friendly and even though it was busy, we felt no pressure to hurry our food. I would definitely go back again.

Angus Steak House is a bit pricey but served the best steaks we've had anywhere for years. The service was friendly and well paced. A great choice for a pre-theatre meal.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
