Nice food and good service at Al Duomo, but the atmosphere was spoilt by the noise from the upstairs part of the restaurant.

Friendly buzzing slightly crowded atmosphere but efficient so not too much waiting around. The toptable deal is really good value - they agreed to allow the daily specials as well as anything on the menu. The gamberoni and calamari starters were excellent, the steak and sea bass main courses were good. We chose Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot to wash it down, and followed by excellent coffee. A great good value meal out in a good place near the Pavilion - thank you top table/Al Duomo!

went to al duomo with my daughter for lunch - i had mussells provencale - nice succulent mussels - sauce was a little overpowering - my daughter enjoyed her pizza -

Al Duomo Pleasant Italian eaterie but not as good as when I last dined there. Now combines restuarant with Cafe Bar and 'Party Room' and is not sure what it wants to do with them. Food adequate but not exceptional. Good wine list

I went to Al Duomo for a friends birthday. There were 6 of us and despite the service being slow, the food made up for it as did the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and all the dishes were good value for money. The location of the restaurant is also ideal if you are visiting Brighton.

Our visit to Al Duomo was bad. The older waiter who served us was extremely rude. We seemed to have arrived during clearing-up time as the waiters and kitchen staff were more concerned with packing things away than they were with serving the customers. The older waiter smoked at the bar and the only way we got a bill was by one of the kitchen staff serving us. The other diners also had to employ various tactics to attract attention. We deducted the included service change!

The meal we had at Al Duomo was really lovely but the only thing wrong was they served our main course straight after taking away our starter plates. It would have been nice to have a few moments as we were not in any rush.

Great value restaurant with very attenttive staff. We were put in the very front of the restaurant whicj lacked atmosphere which we could hear going on behind us.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
